Who We Are

Women Rise for Change (WRC) is a women-led organization committed to promoting the rights, health, and economic empowerment of women and girls in Rwanda. Our work focuses on addressing urgent issues such as sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), teenage pregnancies prevention, access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable people.

WRC supports vulnerable women, including refugees living in refugee camps and disadvantaged women through vocational training, livelihoods support, education, and advocacy. We empower women and girls to overcome systemic barriers and challenges, enabling them to lead safe, healthy, and independent lives and build a brighter, more equitable future.
